One small task a day.
A character you actually earn.

Anvyl hands you a task small enough to finish today. You log it in five seconds. Six stats level up on the strength of what you really did — and cool off when you disappear.

The loop

Five seconds a day. That's the whole ask.

Anvyl is not a planner and not a journal. There is one thing to do, and you can do it standing in a doorway.

  1. 1

    Pick tasks worth doing

Tell Anvyl what you're working on. It pulls from 700+ tasks written to a single rule: at the end of the day you can answer did I do this? with a clear yes or no. No scores to fudge. No "how did that feel."

  2. 2

    Log it, and go

One tap. A photo if you want one. Anvyl deliberately does not want your evening — a session should be shorter than the task was. Then it gets out of your way until tomorrow.

  3. 3

    Your character moves

Every task feeds one of six stats. Levels go up. The forge runs hotter the more of yourself you put in it — and visibly cools when you stop. That's the part that gets you back tomorrow.

The library

700+ tasks. All small. All checkable.

Written across nine areas of a life, not nine kinds of workout. Most come due daily; a hundred of them are weekly, for the things you genuinely only do once a week. A sample of what's actually in there:

Showing up on the days it isn't interesting.

Your two strongest letters name your archetype — Operator, Scholar, Ironclad, Vanguard, Machine, or Artisan. It changes as you do.

Why it sticks

Momentum you can see leaving.

Most habit apps let you quit in private. Anvyl makes both the climb and the slide visible — because the slide is the part that changes behaviour.

Up to 2× per task

Consistency compounds

Show up daily and that stat's multiplier climbs from 1.00 toward 2.00. The same task is worth twice as much to the person who never skipped.

+50% for 48 hours

A comeback window, not a guilt trip

Let a stat go cold and Anvyl opens Tempering — a two-day window where coming back is worth more than never having left. Missing a day is a plot point, not an ending.

Cold → Forged

Someone is watching

You're matched into a cohort of people whose stat shape looks like yours, with a weekly leaderboard. Hit all six letters in a day and your forge goes white-hot where they can see it.

Pricing

Seven days free. Then decide.

The trial needs no card. Use the whole thing for a week and see whether you actually showed up.

FAQ

The honest answers.

How long does this take each day?
The logging takes about five seconds. The task takes as long as the task takes. Anvyl is built so that only real effort off-screen moves anything — there is nothing to grind in the app itself.
What happens when I miss a day?
You get a 24–48 hour grace period, then that stat's multiplier starts to decay — 2% the first day, 3% the second, 5% a day after. Drop far enough and Tempering opens: 48 hours where coming back is worth 50% more. Nothing you earned is ever deleted.
Is my streak public?
To your cohort, yes — that's the mechanism. Every challenge and cohort has a private mode if you want it. The default is public because the default is why most habit apps don't work.
What does it cost, really?
Seven days free with no card. After that it's $2.99 a week or $59.99 a year. There is no free tier and no way to pay for progress — the only currency in Anvyl is what you actually did.
Is it iOS only?
Yes, iOS at launch. Android and a read-only web profile come after the iOS launch is stable.
Does Anvyl use AI?
No. The leaderboard is enough.
Who built this?
One person — me, Kyle. There's no company behind this and no team; I build it, I run it, and I answer the support email. Anvyl came out of pointing daily effort at a small set of habits and repeating it. If it feels like it knows what consistency actually costs, that's why.

Stop quitting in private.

Anvyl launches on the App Store soon. Leave your email and you'll be in on day one.
