Flipper

Privacy policy

Last updated October 21, 2026. This policy covers the Flipper - Illuminate! app for iPhone ("Flipper"), made by Kyle in British Columbia, Canada ("we").

What stays with you

Flipper has no accounts. Your best scores, chain record, level stars and sound setting are stored in the app on your iPhone and synced through your own iCloud account (iCloud key-value storage), so they follow you to your other devices. We cannot see this data and do not receive it.

Game Center

If you are signed in to Game Center on your iPhone, Flipper sends your Endless score and best chain to Apple Game Center leaderboards. Apple runs Game Center under its own privacy policy. Flipper never asks you to sign in.

Advertising

Flipper is free and shows ads through Google AdMob. To show and measure ads, Google and its ad partners collect data from your device, such as the advertising identifier (only if you allow tracking), IP address, device model, operating system, approximate location from the IP address, and how you interact with ads. Their own privacy policies govern that data. Read how Google uses information from apps that use its services and Google's privacy policy.

Before any ad, Flipper shows Google's consent form where the law requires it (for example in the EU and UK). Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt appears only after your first finished game. You can change your choice at any time in iPhone Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking, or in the game under ? > Privacy Choices where offered. Saying no never removes a game feature.

Purchases

The Remove Ads purchase is handled by Apple. We do not see your payment details. Apple tells the app only whether the purchase is active.

Analytics and diagnostics

Flipper has no analytics service; game events are written only to your device's own log. If you share diagnostics with app developers in iPhone Settings, Apple sends us crash reports without your identity.

Children

Flipper is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.

Your rights

Because we hold no personal data about you, there is nothing for us to export or delete. To delete what Flipper stores, delete the app; to remove the iCloud copy, go to Settings > [your name] > iCloud > Manage Account Storage. For data held by Google or its partners, use the choices above or in their privacy policies. Questions: hello@useanvyl.com.

Changes

We will post any change here and update the date at the top.
