Prospector

Privacy policy

Last updated October 19, 2026. This policy covers the Prospector: Idle Gold Mine app for iPhone ("Prospector"), made by Kyle in British Columbia, Canada ("we").

What stays on your phone

Prospector has no accounts. Your mine progress, crews, upgrades, settings, and saves are stored only on your iPhone in the app's web storage, plus a backup copy in the app's files. We do not receive any of this data.

Advertising

Prospector is free and shows ads through Google AdMob. To show and measure ads, Google and its ad partners collect data from your device, such as the advertising identifier (only if you allow tracking), IP address, device model, operating system, approximate location from the IP address, and how you interact with ads. Their own privacy policies govern that data. Read how Google uses information from apps that use its services and Google's privacy policy.

Before any ad, Prospector shows Google's consent form where the law requires it (for example in the EU and UK), then Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt. You can change your choice at any time in iPhone Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking. Saying no never removes a game feature.

Purchases

The No Ads purchase and gem packs are handled by Apple. We do not see your payment details. Apple tells the app only whether each purchase is active or pending. Gem balances are stored on your phone as part of your save.

Notifications

Prospector can send you a local reminder when your vault is full. This reminder is scheduled only on your phone and uses no server. To stop it, turn off notifications for Prospector in iPhone Settings > Notifications.

Diagnostics

If you share diagnostics with app developers in iPhone Settings, Apple sends us crash reports without your identity.

Children

Prospector is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.

Your rights

Because we hold no personal data about you, there is nothing for us to export or delete. To delete everything Prospector stores on your phone, delete the app. For data held by Google or its partners, use Settings (gear button) > Privacy choices in the game, where offered, or the choices in their privacy policies. Questions: hello@useanvyl.com.

Changes

We will post any change here and update the date at the top.
